KWSG REITERATE IT'S COMMITMENT TO PARTNER WITH PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS IN THE STATE

The Kwara State Government has reiterated its commitment to partnering with professional associations in the State, recognizing them as vital contributors to the rapid growth and development of the State.

The Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Hauwa Nuru stated this during a courtesy visit by the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) to the Ministry in Ilorin.

While emphasizing the State government's support for the training of ANAN members, the Commissioner reaffirmed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's dedication to enhancing the professional skills of various professional bodies in the State.

Dr. Nuru encouraged all professional associations to collaborate with the government in policy formulation and providing professional advice to ensure sustainable growth and development. She also urged public sector professional bodies to support the administration's efforts in promoting good governance, transparency, accountability, and effective service delivery.

The Chairperson of ANAN Kwara State Chapter, Hajia Ramat Sulyman (FCNA) commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his people-oriented policies and regular training initiatives for members of the association. 

She appealed to the State government for a suitable office space and an 18-seater bus to aid the association in fulfilling its core mandate.
