VIDEO: KWARA NG-CARES for MSMEs Supervisor and Implementors Speak on Positively Impacting More Vulnerable Businesses in 2024

The NG-CARES for MSMEs is an initiative designed and supported by the World Bank to cushion the effects of COVID-19 on vulnerable businesses. 

In 2023, the KWARA NG-CARES for MSMEs programme supported and positively impacted 8,105 vulnerable businesses across Kwara State. 

In this video, the Chairman Steering Kwara NG-CARES programme, Dr. Mrs Hawa Nuhu (Hon. Commissioner For Finance), the General Manager of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP), Dr Tejidini Abdulwasiu Olayinka and the Acting Technical Head of the Kwara NG-CARES for MSMEs, Mrs Rukayat Yahaya, speak about the results and impact of the programme in 2023 and the plans for 2024.

According to the KWARA NG-CARES for MSMEs supervisor and implementors, in 2024, the programme will double the number of vulnerable businesses it covered in 2023 across the state.
